San Antonio, Texas – On November 10, the 2018 Texas Body Paint Competition is coming to San Antonio.
This year is the 11th year of the continent’s largest body painting competition. The competition will feature 30 live body ‘’canvases’’ with colorful designs.
These artists will compete for prizes and awards, up to 2000 $.
According to a spokesman, the contestants are going to come from faraway places, such as Canada, Italy, Florida, California, and Louisiana.
The themed event in San Antonio this year will reflect ‘’important focal emotions and experiences’’ people feel during their lifetime.
Those emotions can be sadness or happiness, struggle or triumph, as the event’s details describes.
The event page of the theme said, each one of us go through different life experiences over the course of life which shape the person we are today.
Regardless of the difficulties, we learn to navigate through and persevere.
The competition will have Skin Wars Judge in the name of Craig Tracy. Five –time body pain champions Greco and Scott Fray will be conducting workshops as well as judging.
The tickets for the entrance to the event at the Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center start from $30. The event will take place on November 10, from 5 p.m. until 1 a.m. next day.
